Mike comes from a counseling background and it shows in his work. Family law is very emotional and his approach is like a mediator with a JD. It is a great combination that works in the best interest for your your family’s long term happiness. We are very pleased with his approach and the results.

Michael came into the middle of a highly contentious ongoing case, and I had seen the inside of a courtroom on too many occasions. He was able to negotiate so well with the opposing attorney that we were saved from having to take any court action at all. We have so far been able to resolve the issue in the best interest of our daughter. I have every confidence, though, that if it is necessary to go to court again, Michael will work tirelessly to get the best possible outcome. He has been extremely fair with his pricing, and has made himself available even when out of town on vacation. I appreciate Michael’s dedication and integrity so much!

My case has been resolved without having to see the inside of a courtroom, and absolutely serves the best interest of my child. That is all thanks to Michael’s level-headed and forward-thinking negotiations with the opposing attorney, as well as his dedication to a solution. I can’t say enough about his genuine compassion in what is usually a tough and emotional situation.

I felt the need to update this review because, yet again, the help that Michael gave was immeasurable. I had to call him about a child support matter, and his common sense direction saved me a ton of grief, and again set this case in the right direction. I’m continually amazed at Michael’s responsiveness, as well as his genuine integrity. I see a lot of other reviews that mention this, so I know that he delivers this consistently to his clients. I have to say that he has single-handedly restored my faith in the legal/family law profession!

Lenny has been my lawyer for 3 years. He has been instrumental in helping me navigate and ultimately succeed in a high-conflict child custody case.

Lenny took the time to really understand me, my concerns, my goals, and listen to what is in the best interest for my child.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Michael McGonegal and his firm. I retained them late in my case. Despite the odds, Michael worked very hard to get every important detail from the beginning of the case. He seemed to be as passionate about my case as I was, in fact I know he was. Unfortunate events and circumstances present themselves in all of our lives. Rarely are these ever considered to be “opportune” or “timely” in respect to our needs and expectations. When the challenges and struggles do arise, as they had in my situation over 4 years ago, I could not help but to feel lost, ashamed, and abandoned by the once very happy and comfortable life that I lived.
